Opera templates code[edit]

I see you have added some code to the opera templates. Can you tell me what this does? Thanks. - Kleinzach 09:30, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

  • The line I added strictly provides a link to the Romanian templates that I took the liberty to copy from, therefore from you. Being placed between two noinclude code modifiers --> <noinclude>[[ro:Format:Whatever]]</noinclude> <-- it does not affect nor change the format. Moreover, it is "invizible" on absolutly any page, except for its own one, on which it functions as an interwiki connection. Quite some time ago, I noticed it is common practice to place interwiki links not only on any article or category, but also on the templates pages. In fact, it leads the reader from a certain language to the original xy.pedia on which the template was create and gives (indirectly, that's true!) a kind of recognition for the work that person has done. Thank you for making those templates. They are nice, plain and very intuitive. Wars 14:48, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for explaining. I was just puzzled. Of course I am delighted if the templates are useful. Good luck. - Kleinzach 15:36, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Area code 928 USA.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Area code 928 USA.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:05, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

FC Bayern Munich Taskforce[edit]

Would you like to join a FC Bayern Munich Taskforce at WikiProject Munich? Kingjeff 20:49, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for the invitation. I will consider it. I might be able to join later because right now I am in the middle of doing too many multiple tasks in my every-day life. Wars 15:06, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

James Williams (politician, Delaware)[edit]

Hi, Wars. I redirected the James Williams (politician, Delaware) article to the existing article at James Williams (Delaware representative) as it is the same person. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 20:55, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Wikipedia Reviewer.svg

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 01:11, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Format:Utilizator Wars/Craciun 2010 en[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Jimmy Pitt talk 16:54, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

Merry Christmas[edit]

Thank you; hope the remaining 18½ hours of your Christmas are enjoyable! I'm impressed how much work you do here, especially since it's not your native language. And you're welcome for the template work; for a long time, I didn't do much on Wikipedia except template creation. Nyttend (talk) 03:26, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your changes here, here, here, . Unfortunately, it appears as though this change was not welcome. I actually liked your version better, but so it goes. Frietjes (talk) 15:35, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Stupid question (Romanian templates)[edit]

Just out of curiosity, why are you adding all the Romanian inter-wiki links to templates that don't exist on the Romanian Wikipedia? It's probably an obvious answer, but it's late and my brain isn't at full function. Have a great day! 78.26 (talk) 06:34, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Katherine Carlsberg[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Katherine Carlsberg has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. sillybillypiggy 16:45, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

Wikipedia Help Survey[edit]

Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.

Thank you for your time,

Cosmetic changes to articles[edit]

This edit to the article for Denville Township, New Jersey made a series of changes to section headers, adding a space before and after the text. Changes of this nature that have no effect on the content of the article are and that aren't accompanied by any substantive change to the content of the article are discouraged. See WP:COSMETICBOT, among other places, for discussion of this issue. Purely cosmetic changes, even when tagged as minor edits, create more material for other editors to review with no benefit to the encyclopedia. Alansohn (talk) 03:42, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:1778 elections[edit]

A tag has been placed on Category:1778 elections requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
