Hello. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Corner Hotel, Richmond. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:26, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to add sourced content to the hotel article.

You may even start an article about yourself if you feel that you pass WP:42. Step one for writing an article, is to see if there are good media sources out there. Otherwise, it's a waste of time.

As for your userpage, please don't let it become a WP:FAKEARTICLE.

As for your other account, User:Wayne4500, please consider sticking to only one account.

I encourage you to help build the encyclopedia by adding content that is not related to you, personally. If there is anything you ever need or have any questions, please ask. Thank you, and happy editing. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:53, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You have new message/s Hello. You have a new message at Anna Frodesiak's talk page. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 07:56, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Although a lot of leeway is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not a personal website, blog, or social networking medium, nor should it be used to promote yourself, or host a fake article, lengthy biography, or C.V.

If you are working on a draft article about yourself, then:

The subject at your userpage may be notable enough for a Wikipedia article, however, the content cannot remain there indefinitely because it violates WP:FAKEARTICLE. Writing an article about an organization with which you are associated is strongly discouraged, however you may develop the content into a draft article. Please prepare it within a reasonable amount of time after reading WP:42 and Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Write neutrally, in your own words, based on the sources, with no copy pasting from the source. When it is ready to submit, please paste {{subst:submit}} at the top of the draft. This will automatically submit it to Wikipedia:Articles for creation for review.
