Regarding your comments about surface condensers and deareators[edit]

Regarding the comments you have posted on the Talk pages of the Thermal power station and Surface condenser articles, if the latest large power plants use surface condensers with deareating hotwells as you say, then please feel free to add a new section (to those articles) describing such surface condensers and providing additional images. However, since a great many existing power plants are using surface condensers and deaerators as currently described in those articles, please do not change the current descriptions or images. HP Talk page[edit]

Dear Wefoij, Thanks for the note regarding the content of the items removed from that talk page. that's fine, I just saw an anon IP remove multiple comments from a talk page with no explanation to the reason, and the user had previously been warned against doing the exact thing, refactoring or removing others' talk page comments with no explanation in the edit summary, so there is no way I knew those should be removed. If you'd like to remove them, feel free, but the reason should be stated in the edit summary, to let others know why they were removed. Thanks! ArielGold 23:49, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deaerators falling out[edit]

Dear Mr Wefoij.

You have mentioned that deaerators are falling out of favor in large power plants etc. Condensers with good deareation in the hotwell section are used instead.

Can you please send a sketch showing a typical condenser and boiler turbine line diagram in the above cases for me to understand, as my knowledge may be old. Can you quote any power station today of TVA in US (I visited TVA in 1962) using this technology.

Multijunction solar cells[edit]

I posted a response to your comment multijunction solar cells on the solar cell talk page, but I wanted to let you know that I moved your new section for the topic to the bottom of the talk page (lest you think it was deleted). I don't know that it is universally the custom in Wikipedia to post new topics at the bottom, but that has been my experience in the time that I've been here. It certainly seems to be the norm on the solar cell page and the other articles where I've participated, so I figured it was more likely to be noticed if it were posted with the fresh messages (at the bottom) instead of the old ones (at the top).--Squirmymcphee (talk) 14:49, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
