MACHINE GUNS PICTURES[edit]

Hello I have found some scans of Italian machine guns of WWII they are from old flying-book of an aicraft, the book has been printed more than 80 years ago, can we posted on the pages? Thanks --Gian piero milanetti (talk) 11:13, 17 November 2014 (UTC) Gian

  • ? Pictures of Italian machine guns from WWII from a book published no later than 1934 (80 years ago)? That's an interesting trick. :) Can you clarify please? Also note, this editor has been indefinitely blocked. In the future, you may wish to consider other avenues for getting questions like this answered. --Hammersoft (talk) 15:25, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
  • (talk page stalker) If Italy is the country of first publication, then you can typically use {{PD-Italy}}. Of course, WWII pictures can't have been published more than 80 years ago. In the future, use WP:MCQ for questions like this. --Stefan2 (talk) 15:30, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
  • Thanks Stefan, especially for the link to MCQ. Not enough coffee this morning. --Hammersoft (talk) 15:36, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
  • If it's a photo of the M1928 version of the M1926 machine gun (some redirects need fixing there) on an aircraft, then it would be possible both for the photo to be taken in 1934, and for the machine gun to have been used in WW2. Thus being a "machine gun of WWII". Possibly the Italians only ever used Breda-SAFAT machine gun (introduced 1935) and later developments on aircraft in WWII, but I've seen no assertion of that. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 22:44, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
