Hello, WickedWitchoftheWest, and welcome to Wikipedia! I am Ssilvers. Thank you for your contributions and for joining WP:MUSICAL.

I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk.

Take a look at Consensus of standards. It is wise to read the talk page of an existing article before making major changes on it. Even then, I typically ask if anyone objects to a major change, in case the subject has been considered before by the people editing that page.

Please sign your comments on any talk pages with four tildes ~

Again, welcome! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. -- Ssilvers 15:39, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Pqlogo.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Pqlogo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Come party with us![edit]

Accuracy dispute

WikiProject Musical Theatre wants your help!

You are listed as either an active or an inactive participant of WikiProject Musical Theatre. This project has been dormant for a while, but we are very close to reaching consensus on several of the project's main documents (see the talk page for details). Once we get that business and formality out of the way, we are all free to attack the musical theatre articles of Wikipedia and have a wonderful Musical Theatre party! We want you to be a part of that!

So, come and join us! Add your input to the last few business items and then let's get this party started!
-- The WikiProject Musical Theatre team.
P.S. Invite your friends to join to! We need all the help we can get!

May I alert you to a discussion on merging Ondine (Sir Frederick Ashton ballet) into Ondine (Henze)! — Robert Greer (talk) 18:51, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Please Help! - I am looking for the support of ballet and dance enthusiasts on Wikipedia, to help me prevent the proposed merging of Ondine (Ashton), into an article about the ballet's music. The music for this ballet would not have been written had it not been for the choreographer Frederick Ashton, who commissioned it specially for this ballet. This ballet was one of Ashton's most famous works and it would be a terrible shame for this article to be merged into an article that focusses primarily on the music and the composer rather than the ballet and the choreography.

See here: - Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Classical_music#Straw_Poll

Please vote to oppose this change, as this music would not have been written had it not been for Ashton's ballet!!!

Thank You
