Biographies of living people[edit]

Hello Wikiukas and thanks for your contributions; I see that you're creating some biographies of Lithuanian footballers, which is appreciated! However, according to Wikipedia's rules, Unsourced biographies of living people (BLP) created after March 18, 2010, can be proposed for deletion using a special proposed deletion process. Unlike standard proposed deletion, the BLP deletion template may be removed only after the biography contains a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article. If the biography remains unsourced after ten days, the biography may be deleted.
To avoid the risk of having those articles deleted, I'd like to suggest you try and provide at least one source per biography.
Should you need anything, please feel free to ping me on my talk page. Thanks and cheers. Salvio Let's talk about it! 18:27, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Enfcer (talk) 22:30, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletions[edit]

Please be aware that for a football player to merit a standalone article, he or she must meet the criteria spelled out in WP:NFOOTBALL, or the general notability guideline. I have proposed the deletion of the following player articles you created, as they do not meet either guideline:

None of these players have played in a fully professional league, as the A Lyga is not fully pro. (See WP:FPL for sourcing.) Some have not yet played a senior level game at all. None of them have played internationally, and none of them have sufficient coverage to meet the general notability guideline. If you wish to contest the proposed deletion of any of these articles please 'clearly state your reason for doing so in you edit summary or on the article's talk page. Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited FK Ekranas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Red Bull Salzburg (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lithuania national under-21 football team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NFA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
