A new election may be on the agenda with in a year or two from now. Here, below, is an electorial guide to those 60 major political seats that I think tipify the national voting patern! Cher-ching, it's snow joke!

With the snow ploughs bravely holding on in Aberdeenshire and Northumberland, it will be intresting weather the lack of gritting and ploughing in places like Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire or freezing old people in Cumbria and Yorkshire will affect voter sentiment in any of the seats in the December of 2010 and January of 2011? Other factors are that university entry fees going up in England, students and youths rioting, the credit crunch carrying on, Liberal Democrats' opinion poll ratings slumping and petrol prices rising. Both credit crunched Banbury, Stalybridge and Hyde, and Tyneside North, the matter of cash may play a role here to! We have seen little evidence of the Big Society, there is a lot of evidence of a littel socity and just enough of the plans for the much vaunted HS2's passage through Buckinghamshire.--Wipsenade (talk) 16:38, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

The Lagan Valley exsplained!

The Lagan Valley is an area of Northern Ireland. It is between Belfast and Lisburn. The Lagan is a famous river that flows into Belfast Lough. For a section, the river forms part of the border between the counties of Antrim and Down.

It has a number of interesting features including a towpath which runs alongside the River Lagan. The towpath is popular with walkers, runners, cyclists, dog owners etc. It is a very scenic and peaceful area and is ideal for walking, cycling etc. The towpath begins in the Stranmillis area of south Belfast and runs all the way to Lisburn. The cycle route forms part of National Cycle Route 9.

It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The AONB was established in 1965 and the greater part of it lies within the Greater Belfast area.

It is also the name of a constituency in the British and Northern Irish House of Commons covering Lisburn and surrounding areas.

The parliamentary constituency has been a Unionist stronghold [10]. The current MP for the constituency is Jeffrey Donaldson of the Democratic Unionist Party who was first elected as an Ulster Unionist Party candidate in 1997, retaining the seat in 2001. Following his defection to the DUP he retained the seat in 2005.[96]
