Issues with Pictures above[edit]

All you did was take a picture of the image with a camera. You can see the flash. ṜέđṃάяķvюĨїήīṣŢ Drop me a line 19:51, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Yes, I did just take a photograph of the brochure. It would have been very expensive to have it scanned by the staff at the archives of the Dallas Public Library; so I was pleased to get permission to take my own digital photos.Wissembourg (talk) 21:23, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Doug's Gym[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Doug's Gym has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 08:08, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Wynnewood (Dallas) 1.JPG)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:Wynnewood (Dallas) 1.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:03, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

File:DougsGymLogo.jpg missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 01:15, 13 April 2013 (UTC)

April 2013[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Werieth (talk) 19:32, 13 April 2013 (UTC)

This is a final warning, next time you insert the non-free files without consensus you will be blocked. Werieth (talk) 19:43, 13 April 2013 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Wynnewood, Dallas shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Werieth (talk) 19:58, 13 April 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Philotheos: International Journal for Philosophy and Theology[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Philotheos: International Journal for Philosophy and Theology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This topic does not appear to sufficiently fufill the criteria for inclusion per WP:NJournals or WP:N. Also, this description is currently WP:OR without a citation or at least access to this journal's description. Furthermore, this article was tagged for notability in December 2009 and, to date, there are no discernable improvements.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Steve Quinn (talk) 02:38, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

Nomination of Philotheos: International Journal for Philosophy and Theology for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Philotheos: International Journal for Philosophy and Theology is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Philotheos: International Journal for Philosophy and Theology until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Blue Rasberry (talk) 17:09, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
