Welcome to Wikipedia. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Apologies. Did not realize the links I was adding were considered spamming. Thanks for the info.Woofy1978 (talk) 20:26, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning before blocking and blacklisting

[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well potentially being penalized by search engines. Response

[edit]

Once again, I apologize for the misinterpretation. Previously, you had instructed me to first propose adding links on pages' Talk pages. That's what I've been doing. The only time I actually added a link without proposing it first was because the article's Talk page contained posts from other editors speaking of a deficiency in the page's content that the link I was adding helped with. Further, I'm not posting links from my own website--I don't own any websites--but from a site I have found helpful and thought would make a helpful contribution to some of the dog-related articles on Wikipedia. I'll just stop though because clearly I'm either doing it wrong or I don't understand the rules. I'm not trying to spam people or foul things up. Woofy1978 (talk) 16:23, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
