Galiver Sans[edit]

Hello, thanks for writing this article! I’ve just read it and I’m a bit concerned that it has no citations discussing the topic in detail, just links to this font on download website. That worries me since without proof that this font family is notable, meaning covered enough in media for it to be possible to write a fair article on the topic, the article may get deleted.

Are there any reliable sources on the topic that you can add? If so just edit the article and add citations using the cite tool, or if you have any thoughts or questions just let me know. Blythwood (talk) 18:05, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Century Gothic to Draft:Galiver Sans (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:55, 6 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Galiver Sans moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Galiver Sans, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Galiver Sans[edit]

Hello, Xxjjoosengx3xx. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Galiver Sans".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Lapablo (talk) 10:18, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Roller and diasmbiguation[edit]

Hi. In case you weren't aware, if you want to change the title of the Roller article to "Roller (bird)" this will have severe repercussions, mostly due to the >100 articles that would no longer link to it. The reason this is a problem is the old title is not reasonable to change into a redirect (you yourself claim that you intend to use that title for the existing disambiguation page, which is also not practical, and would also directly conflict with the need for a redirect); you would be required to manually track down every existing link that refers to the birds, and change each one individually. This is a major change, and if you are serious about your proposal, the proper thing to do is to go to Talk:Roller and make a formal proposal to change the name, and explain how you plan to address the need to change all of the existing links in the absence of a functional redirect. Please do NOT edit or alter the existing disambiguation article until and unless a consensus is reached to proceed with this plan. I, for one, and I expect other editors, will not be in support of this change. Thanks. Dyanega (talk) 01:27, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
