License tagging for Image:Beyonce11-780082.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Beyonce11-780082.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:05, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Tamara "Taj" Johnson-George, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. andy 11:45, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

June 2007[edit]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to 50 Cent. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. Spellcast 04:33, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent revision to 50 Cent has been reverted for several reasons. First, it is a copyright violation, as the wording is the same as the sources you provide. See Wikipedia:Copyrights for information about this. Second, the sources you provide are unreliable. See Wikipedia:Verifiability for information on appropriate sources. This is particularly important when dealing with living people--see Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Finally, even if the material is true, the presentation is sensationalistic, which also violates Wikipedia's guidelines on biographies of living people. If you feel that the information is worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia article (and I doubt that his speculation about Oprah Winfrey's sex life is, though the other material might be), you should rewrite it in your own appropriate language and be sure that you're using a reputable source. Thanks. Moonriddengirl 16:07, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your edits to 50 Cent, please see WP:NOT#INFO and WP:NPOV#Undue weight. He did make those off-the-hand comments, but they do not belong in an encylopedia article unless it is relevant to his biography. You've been warned about this before, so please don't make unexplained edits. Spellcast 01:10, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

JoJo (singer) and related articles[edit]

Please stop removing the pop genre from JoJo-related articles without a reason. Also, stop adding "Secret Love" and "Come Together Now" to JoJo's singles chronology; the former wasn't released as a single and the latter adds no significance at all. March 2009[edit]

Stop adding false information with false references attributed to that information to Wikipedia articles, as you have done to Danity Kane-related articles. Flyer22 (talk) 18:44, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Concrete Rose (Girl group), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
