Pokémon Chaos Black[edit]

Pokémon Chaos Black is a third party bootlegged version of Pokémon FireRed that was released on the Game Boy Advance and as a ROM. The game features a slightly modified map, some new graphics, 60+ new Pokémon and a tweaked storyline. The game was produced to fill the void left by the lack of a special edition version of FireRed and LeafGreen (e.g. Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.).

The game was developed by 'MewThree Inc.' and was released online in 2004 and on GameBoy Advance in 2005. When playing the game, the chance of a Shiny Pokémon appearing are 100-1 which is considerably greater than FireRed's 8,000-1. The game also features new Legendary Pokémon such as MewThree, MewThree X and MewTrance. The Pokémon on the box and menu screen was inspired/modeled on a character from the Sonic The Hedgehog series called "Chaos", who appears in Sonic Adventure, Sonic Battle and several other games. Although in the game Chaos is unobtainable, it still serves as the game's mascot.

The game's legality is a big issue - it was created as a non-profit fan-game, but is still considered an illegal product as is it not licensed by Nintendo. Nintendo has taken no legal action against the developers, 'MewThreeInc'. However, Chaos Black is not made any more and, in turn, has become more of a collectors' item. It is sold in online marketplaces such as eBay. [1]

The article Pokemon chaos black has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable video game. Lacks significant coverage in reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

ur may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pokemon chaos black, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ROM (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Deletion discussion about Pokemon Quartz[edit]

Hello, Z19pghost,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Pokemon Quartz should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pokemon Quartz .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Surfer43_¿qué_pasa? 18:26, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, WikiProject Pokémon member here,[edit]

Your edits recently have not been following the guidelines of Wikipedia. We handle things differently then say the Pokemon Wikia or Bulbapedia. Wikipedia runs on notability guidelines, and only subjects that have received coverage from reliable sources can be covered under Wikipedia(we consider sites like IGN, GameSpot, and Gamesradar, and magazines like Gameinformer to be reliable. Fansites, or user generated sites like Bulbapedia are not considered reliable.) Under these guidelines, the articles of fangames you created, Pokemon chaos black and Pokemon Quartz should not have articles.

You also asked about why there is not a list of towns in Gameplay of Pokémon. This is because lists of fictional content, like locations, items, and enemies are considered what is called WP:GAMECRUFT. This means that generally, we don't cover things that only fans would be looking for. We are not a gameguide, and generally cover subjects in a way that allows the reader to learn about the subject when they have previously had no knowledge of the subject. For more indepth information, people can always go to actual gameguides, or sites like fan wikis. Blake (Talk·Edits) 16:44, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting at Mac Lethal[edit]

Hello. You reverted my reversion at Mac Lethal without any explanation, here. I reverted your original edit because I performed a Google search and was unable to find any source confirming an EP of that name. I explained my reversion in an edit summary, and I ask that you do the same when reverting. Please see WP:Reverting for some good advice. So, the question remains of whether you are able to provide a reliable source for that EP? Is the lowercase b part of the title or an error on your part? And would you please take the trouble to format the list entry correctly? Thank you. – Wdchk (talk) 15:11, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
