Activists

[edit]

Please don't add "activist" categories to people who are not verifiably known as activists. A politician taking a position on a general political issue doens't make that person an activist on that topic. Whenever applying categories to a biography , the article should contain sourced text justifying the category. See Wikipedia:Categorization of people.   Will Beback  talk  19:26, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if you read this note. You appear to have gone back to adding categories to people without any justification for doing so. Edits like this are disruptive and potentially violate WP:BLP. Please be more careful in the future.   Will Beback  talk  00:02, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Category Illegal immigrants to the United States

[edit]

Hey, I saw that you are pretty involved in the debate over illegal immigration to the US and that you are adding categories to biographical entries. I wanted to make you aware of the Category:Illegal immigrants to the United States in case you knew of any biographical entries that would benefit from said categorization. Keep up the good work. - Schrandit (talk) 05:47, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
