Proposed deletion of Kola swarupathinkal Thaya

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Kola swarupathinkal Thaya, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Seems like a hoax. No Google results, no references. Also see Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics#Kola_swarupathinkal_Thaya.2C_hoax_or_no.3F

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. utcursch | talk 02:26, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Maniyani article

[edit]

Hello Zyx12345, I believe this would find you well. I think you are a bit new on Wiki, I have been around now for some three years. I see you have created or at least written a lot from scratch on this article and it seems like what you write is what you genuinely believe to be true. No offense meant, but Wiki always requires 'citations' or references which support the claims made in the article. That as you would know, is the whole point of a reliable online encyclopedia. I do visit this page and make some minor changes, wherever I feel the grammar or the structure or the spellings might need some correction. And I feel good doing the same. However I am not in a position to get any references which could be considered reliable for many of the claims that have been made in this article. This article is of special interest to me as my Ammamma (Maternal Grandmother) is related by blood to the Mushika Royal Family who seem to have some Maniyani connection. Long ago, I believe I had read or heard somewhere that they were related by blood or by marriage to the Yadava Royals. It is very well known that they have intermarried several times with the Cheras, Pandyas and Cholas but am not able to find references for the Yadava connection. I would request you to kindly try to look for any reliable references that you could find for the claims that have been made on Maniyani, in particular their legends that connect them to the Yadavas. I shall be glad to decorate the article and try to make it look as good as possible. By references, I mean any reliable source - It could be another page on Wiki but that page should have proper references to support tha respective claim; it could be pages from external websites but as far as possible they should be official sites and not blogs or personal pages or among the sites that are 'blacklisted' by Wiki; they could also be from any book written by some conventional scholar. If you could collect the right references and tag them with the respective claims that would greatly help in making this a very good article. connection of maniyani with yadavas

[edit]

== In Kolaswarupathinkal thaya's legend.the devi is the sister of Krishna. How this deity came to KOLANADU or GOKULA NADU.IT IS DURGA or KOTTAIVA Which is the YUDHA DEVATHA of KSHATRIYA's.According to the legend it originated at Gokulam MADURA. It is worshipped by the YADAVAS in the gokulam as per the instruction of Krishna to the Yadavs. The deity gave blessings to the yadavs in the gokulam. The deity not only blessed yadavs but also entire animate and inanimate around it.Then the deity moved towards south sunk in the Ganges. She was worshipped by the people of yadav origin in the gangetic plain. She blessed the cows as well as the yadavs there. She again moved southward and reached Vindya mountain near INDORE in MADHYAPRADESH. There she settelled among the yadavs and she was worshipped by yadavs. She ate the offerings of yadavs with complete satisfaction. They lived in a country called MAHISH MATHY near Indore. Then deity further advanced to south and reached gokarnam.then she reached KOLAPURAM now KOLLUR and KUDAJANDRI.She came through KOLAPUR MAHARASHTRA. When she came to south she marked thousands of places with KOLA,KOLA,KOLA..... Now we can see thousnds of places named with KOLA.KOLAR iNKARNATAKA.

Then she further advanced to KERALA.She met VADUKUNNILAPPAN IN MADAYI PARA.

She settelled at MADIYIPARA where KOLATHIRIS FAMILY deity is this DURGA.SHE needs flesh offerings for NIVEDYAM.KOLATHIRI IS GOKULA THIRI or THIRI is originated from TAMIL language word THIRU which is the equivALENT OF sri IN malayalam OR saNSKRIT. meaning of kola thiri is sree of GOKULA VAMSA or the CHIEFTAIN OF GOKULA OR KOLA VAMSA.

AS per the GREAT EPIC MUSHIKA VAMSA BY ATHULAN KOLATHIRIS are descendents of

MAQHISHMATHY KINGS.Mahishmathy Kings are YADAVS,no doubt according to legendas. That is why KOLA swarupathinkal thaya became the deity of KOLATHIRI and MANIYANIS. Swarupam means THARAVAD, A GROUP COMPRISING of family members with more than two or three generation.

Like that words like Nambuthiri. Nambyathitri,Konathiri are formed in malayalam.

This Durga visited all the Gokula nadu and blessed the yadavs and aqccepted their offerings. She blessesd the cows also in th e Gokula nadu or KOLA NADU. KOLASWARUPATHINKAL THAYA MEANS THE MOTHER OF GOKULA VAMSA.06:43, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Zyx12345 (talk)
