Vandrangi Ramarao[1] is polar as[clarification needed] Bhavasri (Telugu:భావశ్రీ). He is a Telugu movie writer, poet, State awardee, speaker, and anchor in Akasavani.


He has born on 26 January 1935 at Santhavuriti village, Ponduru, Srikakulam district. His parents are Sri Suryanarayana and Ammannamma. His father was a social worker. He has passed B.A degree. He knows Telugu, Hindi, English and Sanskrit.

He said "telugu religion is mine, Telugu Culture is mine, if I know many languages but I am a telugu poet". The words of him expresses that he is very affectionate his mother language Telugu. His entire life is linked with the literature. Many students in the universities researched the literature of him. Present he works as a district president of 'Andhra Pradesh sahithi cultural society (Telugu:ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ సాహితీ సాంస్కృతిక శాఖ). He has worked as a member of the above society twice and worked as a member of Adhikara Bhasha sangham in trice. He continued his service on literature till today.


  • He has written more than 120 concepts on literature in areas such as poetry, prose, drama, sameeksha, gajals, and poems.
  • He is the first person in the skill of language in "padyalatoranam" telecast in D.D-I.
  • Nagarjuna University gave M.Phil to six books of Bhavasree.
  • He has participated in the 90th birthday celebration of Ghantasala at Palakonda.[3]
