Vernon is a census-designated place and a U.S. Post Office located in Yuma County, Colorado, United States. The population as of the 2010 Census was 29.[3] The Vernon Post Office has the ZIP Code 80755.[2]

A post office called Vernon has been in operation since 1892.[4] The community was named after a local minister with the name Vernon.[5]
