Water for injection ([aqua ad iniectabilia] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help) or [aqua ad injectionem] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)) is water of extra high quality, which is used for production of parenterals (e. g. infusion solution for intravenous therapy or solution for injection) and water-based ophthalmic products according to Pharmacopoeia.[1]
