• Target of redirect: Aram Khachaturian
• Reason: This one takes a little explaining, but four possible transliterations exist for the Armenian surname Խաչատուրյան, bolded at Khachaturian (surname). Since per Talk:Khachaturian (surname)#Requested move 18 March 2025, Aram Khachaturian is primary for that name all transliterations should point there, and Khachaturyan, Khachatourian already do that, but we still need to align the last alternative transliteration and Armenian original. First as Template:R from alternative transliteration, second as Template:R from alternative language, both as Template:R avoided double redirect.

• User:Timtrent Hopefully you do not mind but I'm reopening this one. Both other alternative transliterations, namely, Khachaturyan, Khachatourian point at Aram Khachaturian. And the RM made a consensus decision about the PTOPIC. The only reason to point them at the surname page would be if that RM were reversed, but they aree all alternative transliterations of the same Armenian string so should clearly point to the same place as Template:R avoided double redirect if need be. ~2026-39780-5 (talk) 18:16, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

• Comment: When there is a disputed outcome I am content that you have reopened it. I will defer to a different reviewer, because I truly do not understand the point you are making in a manner whicih would allow me to reach a different conclusion.
  It appears to me that these are alternate spellings and characterset of the surname, no more and no less, but you think differently. • User:Timtrent No problem. If you want, you can create them pointing at the surname page. I can then list them at RFD for further discussion as to the target, and if there is no consensus the first target will remain. After all, when there is some uncertainty about the optimal resolution to a specific situation, the best method is to gain insight from as many people as possible. • Comment: I have invited further eyes from WT:AFC, and this is the note I posted there soe time after asking for help: I intend to leave this until the morning of 22 January UK time and then take a view and close it with redirects created but likely to be discussed. My intent is to redirect them to the disambiguating page for the surname.
