While it's interesting that it sold 60,000 copies in the US, "Royals" totally dominated European charts, so that would probably be more relevant.
And actually, according to our article, it sold 5.9 million copies in the US (which actually is notable!). Perhaps check the discrepancy here.

Lorde is a New Zealand singer known for her contrary view of pop culture with that of her contemporaries. - That is possibly the poorest definition / first sentence I've seen in my time on Wikipedia. "Contrary view of pop culture"? It's been "in" to be "contrary" for ages. Can we define her a bit better than this, please?

I'd have insisted on references there, too. That something is referenced elsewhere is not sufficient reason to not reference something in the nominated article, particularly at the featured level.
