Rigger[edit]

Original - "Big Pete" Ramagos, rigger at work on dam (TVA) Douglas Dam, Tennessee, June 1942.
Reason
Another example of early color photography (picking those PD archives clean). Quite a face. Most of the articles about construction professions don't have any image, so it's good to locate a quality example. Restored version of Image:AlfredPalmerRamos.jpg

  • Comment – it's a pity that the object of the rigger's work is behind the beam. – Ilse@ 11:00, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support It is a shame that we can't see exactly what he's doing, but I feel that the picture gives a pretty good general idea of what it is he's doing, and it is an attractive image. faithless (speak) 01:47, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
