New York GLAM-Wiki partnerships[edit]

  • Museum of Modern Art
    The MoMA WikiProject is dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.
    Hosted "MoMA Wikipedia 'Talk to Me (exhibition)' Edit-a-thon in 2011. The edit-a-thon was centered around filling in articles about their exhibition Talk to Me: Design and the Communication between People and Objects which showed July 24 to November 7, 2011

    The Thomas J. Watson Library has been adding references to its collections to increase coverage of the library materials on Wikipedia.
    Several hundred links have been added on Wikipedia to the MMA publications Digital Collections on the Museum site. Now, over 50% of the traffic going to the library's Digital Collections is referred by Wikipedia.
