Bulletin Board[edit]

  • There is a new template, {{IPA-de}}, for indicating German pronunciations. Please use it instead of {{IPA}} or {{IPA2}} when showing the pronunciation of German words.

Notice Board[edit]

  • I added yet another Anti-Nazi parody of the Horst Wessel Lied and translated it here. I think it's a good translation but would feel more comfortable if other Wikipedians checked it. I made further small modifications to the parody and my translation but updating the link every time is too much I feel. Proxima Centauri (talk) 10:38, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

Requested articles[edit]

  • Done - ref #1 and #2 are only borderline reliable (ref 1 has a clear self-interest and "believes", ref #2 is a fun fact listing with little evidence of professional research). The only ref "saving" this from being a mere tourist guide entry is ref #3. GermanJoe (talk) 04:04, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

Related content disputes[edit]

There is a dispute at Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg about the section, "Plagiarism scandal and resignation." Input from additional editors would be appreciated. -Thucydides411 (talk) 21:47, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

Terminology check requested

  • Leipheim. Made an attempt to translate from the German article, but it would be good if someone with a profound knowledge of history terms could check it over.

Need help with English articles

  • Siemens VAI has an article in German Wikipedia but not English Wikipedia. Since I don't read German, I wanted to see if there was a connection with Voestalpine, and it's not obvious from the sources I have found, given the many companies called Voestalpine, whether they are all part of one company. I'm also not clear on whether these are owned by Siemens AG, and the exact connection with Siemens VAI.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 21:35, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
