Scripts assist[edit]

I have enabled some scripts in my custom js and vector js and cleared all cache but some features and functions that was visible at first seem to have disappeared please help You should know I enabled quite a lot of them DashDog01 (talk) 00:30, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You've left a message regarding this at WP:VPT. Give more details there on what features and functions have disappeared. You can expect a response there once you clarify the details there. Thanks, Lourdes 04:20, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ref number 2 is a PDF and is not done correctly on this page - ie, the date on the thesis appears twice (unnecessary). Please fix if able. Thanks 175.32.12.25 (talk) 01:37, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lost draft article in sandbox[edit]

Hey. I think I lost draft article in sandbox. I was working on chart related to mid-major teams and their success in the NCAA tourney. I think I lost it when I submitted another article for review. Any help would be appreciated! Jay (talk) 08:14, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is this the content that you lost? If so, then you can copy it to a new sandbox. Dbfirs 08:45, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

At that subject you put the map wrongly with the colours.Atthe first map correctly you show and say that akrotiry and Dhekelia is in red..while the next map say it is in pink - which is wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.0.129.31 (talk) 09:50, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well some people would call the colour on the second map pink rather than red,but we can call it red if most people see it as red. Dbfirs 19:31, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I would have described the second as pink, fuschia or magenta ahead of 'red'. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 2.218.14.51 (talk) 22:53, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Help updating the logo at the Inner Wheel Club article[edit]

According to this edit, the article used the wrong logo, File:Innerwheel.png. I'm blind so I can't really tell, but there might be an updated logo at this page and almost certainly at the organisation's official website. Could somebody help me sort this out? Thanks! Graham87 10:30, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Graham As far as I can tell the image in our file is identical to that on the graphics-for-rotarians site. That on the Inner Wheel's own website (small, in the top left-hand corner) is different in colour tones and has a tiny darker spot in the very centre: Noyster (talk), 19:58, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Noyster: Thanks for that. I also just found this Google-cached site and this from Inner Wheel Australia. Graham87 02:01, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

INDIA[edit]

MOTHER TONG OF INDIA IS HINDI BUT YOU HAD MENTION IT. PLEASE MENTION THE MOTHER TONG. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.142.108.206 (talk) 10:45, 14 April 2018 (UTC) [reply]

There is no such thing as the "mother tongue" of a nation. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 2.218.14.51 (talk) 12:00, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Which page are you referring to? India says "Official languages Hindi English" in the infobox, and later "Hindi, with the largest number of speakers, is the official language of the government". As mentioned above, a whole nation does not have a mother tongue. People have different mothers. PrimeHunter (talk) 13:50, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can my edit contributions on English wiki be shown in other language wikipedias? If so how?[edit]

Hi I have been editing English Wikipedia for some years now, so I know my way around. I would like to make some edits on French Wikipedia but I would like my English Wikipedia contributions to be shown when I edit French Wikipedia pages, so French editors know I am an experienced editor. Can this be done? and if so how? --PinkAechFas (talk) 11:23, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, FWIW, any edit should be judged solely on the merits (or otherwise) of that edit, not on the relative experience of the editor. (This is one reason I edit solely from an IP address and have never sought an account.) {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 2.218.14.51 (talk) 12:04, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
On your French user page, you could mention your English contributions, and even link to them if you wish, but your contributions in French will be judged by editors there based their quality, not on anything you have contributed in another language. Dbfirs 13:38, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@PinkAechFas: Special:Contributions/PinkAechFas only shows your edits at the local wiki. This cannot be changed. You could link Special:CentralAuth/PinkAechFas on your user page, possibly with fr:Modèle:Utilisateur Contributions CentralAuth. However, the link is already on "Compte global" at the bottom of fr:Special:Contributions/PinkAechFas, at least for users with the default French interface language. Chinglish[edit]

How to start a chinglish article?

(how at wikipedia create a chinglish of articles)?1.165.79.229 (talk) 16:36, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • We have an article on Chinglish. However, you appear to wish to start a new language version of Wikipedia. Based on our article, I do not think you will be successful, because there is no agreed-upon or official Chinglish language, but you are free to try, of course. You will find links to policies and procedures on this page: [[1]]. In the very likely event that you cannot establish an "official" Chinglish Wikipedia, you can find a server hosting organization, bring up a server, and install the Wikimedia software, and run you own wiki there. -Arch dude (talk) 17:51, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dragon Ball Super Episode List[edit]

Hi Would you please put up semi protection page for Dragon Ball Super episode list. Unregistered Peoples Keep removing english episode titles off from future trunks sage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hyper121 (talkcontribs) 21:38, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I've not gone through the list you're referring to. But just procedurally, it might be better to leave a request at WP:RFPP. If you have any problem leaving a request there, write back here and someone would assist. Thanks, Lourdes 02:53, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Writing a good article.[edit]

Hello, I was planning on writing a good article in the near future; I was wondering on the amount of sources I would need to do that, how long the article needs to be, and how it needs to be written. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Do the Danse Macabre! (Talk) 22:05, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I've written a few good articles, from very short to quite long. While William Walker (Australian cricketer) that I wrote is reasonably small, I would suggest that you might keep this as a benchmark and strive for an article that is possibly longer than this. Try to ensure that you get all statements supported by reliable sources; that ensures that the path to a future WP:FA is easier. And of course, write it in a neutral mode, without giving undue weight to any part. Once you have a draft ready, feel free to leave a message here or on my talk page for a quick, informal, friendly review. Feel free to write back for any support you might need in the meanwhile. Warmly, Lourdes 02:47, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Forgot my password[edit]

Hi everybody. My username is Feddacheenee. I forgot my password and, unfortunately, I did not provide Wikipedia an email address. I would not have a problem starting another username, but is there any way I can link my contributions as Feddacheenee to my new username? I know I can edit anonymously, but I prefer to take ownership of what I write. Thanks, me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.80.29.242 (talk) 22:32, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edits cannot be reassigned. You can place links between the accounts on the user pages. PrimeHunter (talk) 22:46, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

size of display[edit]

My wikipedia pages are not displaying at aboaut three times normal size, so I have to scroll horizontally to see the tight side of a page. How can I adjust this?

Rafe S — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.69.101.31 (talk) 22:41, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may have accidentally zoomed in your browser. In most browsers you can press Ctrl++ for larger, Ctrl+- for smaller, Ctrl+0 for normal. PrimeHunter (talk) 22:44, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
