TyrusThomas4lyf (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · edit filter log · block user · block log) is a persistent sock-puppeteer who had his account blocked indefinitely in May, 2007 for repeated personal attacks and edit warring on NBA-related articles, in spite of numerous warnings and attempts to mediate. Prior to his block, this user also edited under the aliases IlliniPride (talk · contribs · logs) and (talk · contribs · logs). Since his block, he has repeatedly attempted to subvert the block by resorting to sock-puppetry. Several reports were made at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets:

Modus operandi[edit]

TyrusThomas4lyf sock-puppets are recognizable most easily by their typical (but not exclusive) focus on a certain range of NBA articles, signature edits, occasionally abusive edit summaries, and edit warring. Favorite articles (with some sample signature edits) include:

They have also shown an interest in serial killer and Nazi-related articles and is known for creating voluminous re-directs for improbable spelling errors.

IPs tend to originate from the Chicago area. This user has also been known to use a Barnes & Noble shared account in the past, though this is uncommon.
