Riverside Precinct Brisbane Meetup
Next: Saturday 21 November 2015

Next meetup[edit]

POSTPONED - planned venue suddenly unavailable! Please discuss a new date/place here.

Wikipedia's 15th birthday is on Friday 15 January 2016. So having our next meetup around that time seems like a good idea. I'm guessing that the Friday might not suit a lot of people due to work commitments so I am wondering how people feel about a meetup on Saturday 16 January 2016 for a slightly belated birthday party! Please discuss here.Kerry (talk) 02:56, 22 November 2015 (UTC)

How it Works[edit]

  1. We propose a meetup and ask for interest from the Queensland wiki audience.
  2. We decide on a date (most preferably on weekend), location and time.
  3. We book the tables one week before the date.
  4. We meet on the decided date.
  5. We dine together, socialise and chat.
  6. We share the bill and go home.

If you are looking to organise a Gold Coast event, talk to the local studies librarians at the Southport library; they are interested in supporting local Wikipedians and they have nice facilities there. Email me for more specific contact details. Kerry (talk) 00:22, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
