Everyone is cordially invited to attend a monthly Editathon in Cork, Ireland in collaboration with Dublin2019.
This is also working well with Women + Science Fiction & Fantasy
Wikipedia is one of the leading resources of knowledge for anyone who has access to the internet. You can make an impact by helping contribute to the free encyclopedia which anyone can edit. Come join us as we assist members of the public potentially join our editing/contributing community.
Meanwhile the Science Fiction and Fantasy community is excited to bring Worldcon to Ireland and we would like you to join us!
We want to get genre people to add biographies and articles about writers and creators as well as the works they create as well as to explain how the concepts of notability and reliable sources work.

About the meet up[edit]
A social gathering for Dublin2019 volunteers and Wikimedia enthusiasts, where we...
- Drink coffee and/or beer.
- Chat about Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Conventions, Wikipedia and any other topics we fancy.
- Exchange books, maps and other source materials.
Mainly a casual social event. This is also an open invitation to anyone interested in finding out more about Dublin2019 and Wikipedia. Feel free to come along and raise related discussions over a drink. Alcohol consumption is optional.

On the couches of the Cork International Hotel lobby.
Getting there[edit]
Cork International Hotel is in the Cork Airport Business Park and near Cork Airport. Directions can be found on the web site. Public transportation is available as well as free parking.
Disabled access[edit]
The pub has an accessible loo on the ground floor. There is good access throughout the hotel. For awareness, the parking is easiest around the back of the hotel to the right - all the way around to Parking by a door in.

- Wifi should be available for those bringing their own laptops.
