What is the WikiSalon?
The WikiSalon is a casual gathering of Wikimedia enthusiasts where participants can freely discuss and participate in Wikimedia wikis and the free culture movement. There's no set agenda and guests are welcome to recommend articles for the group to edit or edit on their own.
Where is it?
WikiSalons are held at the Cove co-working site at 1730 Connecticut Avenue NW. If you're coming by Metro, the closest station is Dupont Circle on the Red Line, north exit. Once you've found the building, go to Cove on the second floor. We will be in the conference room.
Is food served?
Free coffee, tea and soft drinks are available on-site<, and we may order pizza if enough people come. You're also welcome to bring your own food or snacks to share!
How do I RSVP?
You don't! The idea of a WikiSalon is to show up and leave when you please. Salons are casual get-togethers that do not require signing up beforehand.
