We now have an IRC channel for Wikimedians in the northeast: #wikimedia-northeast connect. The New York chapter may be moving toward a more regional membership system, so Pittsburgh area editors could be part of the chapter.

Friday, February 26, 2016 ART+FEMINISM EDIT-A-THON, STUDIO for Creative Inquiry at CMU[edit]

Please join us from 12:00pm-7:00pm at the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry at Carnegie Mellon University for the first of two ART+FEMINISM EDIT-A-THONs in Pittsburgh! As you may have noticed, there are two events happening in Pittsburgh. Ours will focus on the intersection of art and technology. The event is free and open to the public. People of all gender identities and expressions, particularly transgender, cisgender, and gender nonconforming women, are invited to participate. The STUDIO is a wheelchair accessible space and there are services available to accommodate participants with disabilities. Please let us know what resources you need when you RSVP.
