Wikipedia:ORCID/About you

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to navigation Jump to search

If there is a Wikipedia article about you, we would like to add your ORCID iD to it.

This also applies if you are the subject of an entry on one of our sister projects, like Wikidata (or, for biological taxonomists, Wikispecies).

You can tell us what your ORCID iD is, so that we can add it to the article - just leave a note on the talk page, or contact ORCID's Wikipedian in Residence (or add it yourself, as described elsewhere, if you know how).

You can also mention that there is an article about you, in the text part of the biography on your ORCID profile (example). Eventually, ORCID may add a parameter specially for this (and/or for the Wikidata equivalent).

You can do the same if you have other IDs, like ISNI, ResearcherID, VIAF, etc.

Please do not create a Wikipedia article about yourselfhere's why.
