I've listed this article for peer review because I am hoping this list will eventually reach FL status. I created a similar list for Rufus Wainwright and took it up to FL status, and I hope to do the same for this Scissor Sisters list. Any feedback would be appreciated before making this article a featured list candidate.

One thing I am not certain of: grammatically speaking, is it "The Scissor Sisters have received one nomination..." or "Scissor Sisters has received one nomination...", etc. The debate is whether the group is listed as a singular group or a plural group of individuals. Also, I think the preference varies between American-English and British-English. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this or make the corrections, if needed.

Ruhrfisch comments: I saw this band on Saturday Night Live once. Nice to know they still around. Here are some suggestions for improvement.

I looked at the FL List of awards and nominations received by Aerosmith, which refers to an American band using singular verbs (Aerosmith is an American Grammy Award-winning hard rock band ... and Aerosmith has recieved four awards...). But when I looked at the FL List of awards and nominations received by Radiohead, it refers to the British band using both singular and plural verbs (Radiohead are an English alternative rock band ..., but The band has received five BRIT Award nominations ...). Anyway, both use "has received". I would follow American usage since SS is an American band.

Done. I changed all to "Scissor Sisters has received.." or "Scissor Sisters has been nominated..."

The level of detail on the Ivor Novello award seems excessive in comparison to the other award descriptions. Some context is good, but not this much.

Comment: I removed one sentence, and will soon be adding references for the details listed.

I do not write music articles or music lists - is the "Other recognitions" section common? Will it be OK at FLC? If it is not a notable award (not listed in its own table above), does it really belong here? I don't know - just asking.

Comment: List of awards and nominations received by Rufus Wainwright has a similar list, as does the awards list for Fiona Apple.

Ref 21 (1001 Albums book) should list the page number(s) for SS's entry there.

Comment: I have no idea what page the entry appears on. I will see if this criticism is mentioned again when attempting FL status.

Probably a music style thing, but why is the order of awards different in the article vs. the article?

Comment: I am not sure what you are asking or pointing out here. On the awards lists, the order is alphabetical.
