How do I add photos/images?[edit]

Do I need to upload them first? in the editing page, when I click photo, it says image.jpg, but I'm gussing this only works after a photo is edited? When I click on the upload section, it says I need to "own" the copyright to an image in order to upload it. What about photos of a band or artist such as press photos? can those be used? How do I create a "main photo", the type that usually appears to the left at the top of article pages?

Yes you do have to upload the image first - see Wikipedia:Images and Wikipedia:Image use policy for more information. Basically, you are strongly discouraged from using photos of bands, etc. that you haven't taken yourself, because of fair use issues. -- Chairman S. What is the name of this game?[edit]

On a website, I found a logic game where you have a triangle of 15 holes, all but one are filled with balls. You play by jumping a ball over another ball into an empty square, just like checkers, and you win if only one ball remains (you also win if 8 balls remain). What is the name of the game? How do I get 1 or 8 balls remaining?

Sounds like peg solitaire, but the versions of that I have played (in the UK) are not in the shape of a triangle but a cross shape. --Richardrj ^talk ^email 09:29, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's the same game, just a different shape. In the U.S., Cracker Barrel restaurants usually have the triangle version on the tables for the guests to puzzle over while waiting for their food. They also sell it in their country store in the front of the restaurant. As with most puzzles of this sort, there are a number of different ways that it can be solved.
