Pending changes reviewer

I tend to edit a range of very small articles, where regular checks and other members of Wikipedia don’t touch for a considerable length of time. (months or years can go by from the last edit) Me being allowed to review changes for edits to articles can help to stop wrong information being present on the smaller pages.

Thank you for your time! Crawsome Crustacean (talk) 09:12, 8 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) Crawsome Crustacean, Pending changes reviewers use Special:PendingChanges to review changes for pages with the pending changes protection. This system allows anonymous users and accounts without the confirmed status to edit these pages, and have another editor look over them before letting the general public see them. As such, gaining the user right depends on having a track record of looking for specific edits of other users, such as vandalism, copyright infringement, and BLP violations. I don't see those actions being done in your edits. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 22:40, 8 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh I see. Thanks for your time regardless. Crawsome Crustacean (talk) 22:53, 8 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Rollbacker and frequent recent changes patroller, I have quite a bit of experience dealing with vandalism and other disruptive editing. {{GearsDatapack|talk|contribs}} 21:11, 9 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
