Hello, I have been an editor here on Wikipedia for years, going back to the very early years of the site, although for years I edited without having an account, identified by an IP address instead. Then in 2011 I created my Wikipedia account so that I could be a more active part of the Wikipedia community. Over the years I have made many minor improvements to articles and familiarized myself with various Wikipedia policies including all the ones relevant to reviewing pending changes, although there are still some other policies I don't entirely understand like what is considered notable and what sources are considered valid. I have also voted in various elections open to Wikipedia/Wikimedia users, and contributed to other Wikimedia projects including less-well-known ones. I am an administrator of multiple wikis at Wikia.com, indeed the founder of one who wrote most of the content on it, and have fought vandalism there, where it is quite a problem on some wikis. I had to deal with quite persistent vandals at Wikia and I gradually learned how to be more diplomatic with them and not punish them quite as harshly as I instinctively wanted to, since in some cases overzealous punishment that I tried just seemed to rile them up even more and make them even more determined to cause trouble. Eventually I got the biggest vandal on the Wikia.com wiki I started to stop and made peace with him, he apologized and I unbanned all of the IP addresses connected to him that he had used, that was a real breakthrough for me, he never vandalized again, we made peace after quite a lot of fighting and him changing his IP address quite a lot of times (I could have probably stopped him by disabling edits by IP users who were not logged in but I wanted to encourage edits by other people on my wiki so I didn't take that measure).
I am familiar with the vandalism policy, content policies, legal policies, and guideline on reviewing. In the past sometimes I have encountered pages that had pending changes, where the latest unapproved version of the page differed from the latest official version, and usually the latest unapproved version would have various improvements that had not yet made it to the main article, since even people without the permission to review changes like me revert vandalism when we see it. Vandalism is usually quite easy to distinguish from good-faith edits, and we should assume good faith whenever possible of course. Anyway in 2018 I think I am ready for this level of responsibility and will use it wisely and very carefully whenever I come across a page with pending changes. I sincerely doubt you would ever need to take this user right away from me if I am approved, but if you ever do decide that giving it to me was a mistake, you can certainly take it away any time you want, too. I might be a bit opinionated on certain subjects which you might see if you look at what I have said on some talk pages (rather than main articles), but I will keep my opinions to myself and uphold Wikipedia policies whenever I review pending changes, just as I keep my opinions out of articles and keep articles at a neutral point of view.
I am someone who likes to build consensus and work together with other people and avoid edit wars. Most Wikipedia contributors are like that too although occasionally some can be less than diplomatic with each other but I do try and be diplomatic whenever possible. I also have good abilities in being able to read fast and write fast, and I also like to check links used as references to see if they work and if they say what they are being cited to say. I guess my point is, I think I am up for this task, it is not like I am asking to be an administrator or anything. I don't think I am qualified for something as high as administrator, nor would I even want that level of responsibility, but this is something I can definitely do if you give me the chance. I have well over 500 edits that I made since getting a Wikipedia account, probably twice as many if you count the ones made in the years before then when I did it from an IP address before creating an account, something I don't do anymore. Feel free to look at my edit history, I am an open book. Yetisyny (talk) 02:16, 17 August 2018 (UTC) Yetisyny (talk) 02:16, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
Not done no recent consistent track record to judge. Come back in a month if you're still active. TonyBallioni (talk) 02:27, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

I have been actively editing Wikipedia for a few months and have experience dealing with vandalism. I have read most major policies and believe this right will help me assist in the maintenance of the project. Danski454 (talk) 12:15, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

Hello, I've been actively editing Wikipedia for a couple of years, and have slowly over that time increased my knowledge of Wikipedia guidelines, ranging from copyright to vandalism. I have some experience in dealing with vandalism, and once put in a request for protection on a semi-regularly vandalised article, although I feel I have been lucky enough to have rarely seen any vandalism over my time on this site. I believe becoming a pending changes reviewer will allow me to increase the benefit I can provide to this project. Thank you for your consideration. Jionunez (talk) 15:23, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

If you think that someone else needs to review my edits after I've been here for over 13 years and made nearly 62,000 edits then we've got a real problem. ElKevbo (talk) 03:41, 19 August 2018 (UTC)

I don't intend to review the backlog; I just want to be able to review pages under PC that I come across. This way another reviewer's time would not have to be wasted. I have a couple dozen requests at RPP, and I have the NPR right. wumbolo ^^^ 11:30, 19 August 2018 (UTC)

I have been fighting vandalism and BLP issues for a while and Pending Changes is necessary for me to expand my abilities against vandalism. Abequinn14 (talk) 19:35, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
