Not done @Calvingabor: It's entirely possible these churches are notable and I think it would be worth creating articles about them if that is the case. OpenFrame

Enter your reasoning here and then click the "Save page" button below -OakleyRobert (talk) 00:20, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

The Article is about a commercial software product and we are researching to add some references from valid sources, I would like to be given the opportunity to review the entry I wrote to make it comply to the wikipedia guidelines. the articles we have as reference are in korean as the product is developed in South Korea. I believe that aside from the current lack of references the article is similar to ORACLE DATABASE in style - why has this not been deleted?

I would like the opportunity for open discussion of this issue, with a view to rewriting the article which was intended for information purposes.

Not done. First, who is "we"?
Articles exist on Wikipedia because they are encyclopedically relevent, not "for information purposes". Use your own company website, or Facebook, for that. Furthermore, you did not create the article "for information purposes". With phrases like "has been chosen as the replacement IT infrastructure for many leading companies", the intent was clearly promotional, and Wikipedia is never to be used for promotion or publicity. The fact that the style of the article may be similar to another has no bearing on anything. Each article stands or falls on its own merits regardless of what else might exist.
Because you apparently have a conflict of interest, please read the guideline WP:COI carefully. Your best approach to submitting an article where you have a conflict of interest is to use Wikipedia:Articles for creation where your article can be reviewed by a neutral independent party, to give you feedback on the path to acceptance of the article. ~Amatulić (talk) 01:09, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi - Thanks for your reply. "We" means the people who made edits on the page - (Although that may have been another other page. I understand - "has been chosen as the replacement IT infrastructure for many leading companies" - was from company promotional material - which was referenced, it was a quote but not referenced correctly. I will follow your advice. OakleyRobert (talk) 08:27, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

Marion Sheret

Marion Sheret was the artist, Ettore (Ted) DeGrazia's, wife. The reason this article was originally deleted was because I did not initially add enough information when I began working on her page yesterday. The reason Wikipedia gave me was (A3: Article that has no meaningful substantive content). I had merrily just begun creating it, so it did not have a sufficient amount of information on her page. She was not only a poet and sculptor, but she also is the main reason Ted DeGrazia was able to build and maintain his Gallery In the Sun, in Tucson, Arizona. I would like to add a short page on her, since she was such an important figure for the museum, and for Ted DeGrazia. Without Marion, Ted DeGrazia's museum and legacy would not be here today. Marion was born 1905 in Albion New York, and died 2002 in Tucson, Arizona. If you have further questions regarding the legitimacy of this page name, please notify me. I believe Marion deserves the right to have her own page name, since she spent her entire life in the shadow of her famous husband- even though she herself was a very talented and dedicated artist. Hello. The Wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitacs_inc. was recently deleted by user Bbb23 with the reason given: (A7: No explanation of significance (real person/animal/organization/web content/organized event): G11) Can you please advise how to appeal this deletion? Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit research organization which administers research internships for graduate postdoctoral scholars across Canada. We are funded by national and provincial governments. The organization places a significant role in supporting research and driving innovation in Canada by connecting educational institutions with industry partners.  Not done. Welcome to Wikipedia, but it is actually quite choosy about subjects for articles. The inclusion criterion is called Wikipedia:Notability and is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." For musical performers, there is a guide to what is required at WP:MUSICBIO, and for albums at WP:NALBUMS. If the artist is not notable, it is unlikely that his album is, so I suggest you read WP:Your first article and then, if you can find independent references about INShocks, use Wikipedia:Articles for creation to guide you though the process of making an article. About the article "Sharaf Qaisar", Which no more exists, despite it being reviewed/revised.

The article Sharaf Qaisar which, I agree, was a re-post. But the deficiencies it consist previously, which indeed were discussed in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sharaf Qaisar too, were completely removed. These made the article in accordance with proposed guidelines of Wikipedia. Article doesn't had, even an indication, of promotion or advertisement. Still, wiki administration deleted it. I condemn! Not done. You need to read the deletion debate more carefully, The heart of it is that the topic did not meet Wikipedia's notability requirements "WP:GNG and WP:MUSICBIO"; that "they lack significant coverage in reliable sources..." It was also noted that there was promotional language. You removed a few sentences (though it still read as promotional) but the real issue is that you added no reliable, independent, secondary sources at all (and the article contained not even one such source). Please understand that no amount of editing can overcome a lack of notability.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 13:32, 3 April 2014 (UTC)

See WP:Your first article and User:JohnCD/Not a noticeboard for advice, and note in particular that, to be accepted, an article would need references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" to establish WP:Notability. JAMS (alternative dispute resolution)

Article does meet notability. JAMS and its policies (especially about consumer arbitration) have been discussed in numerous reliable sources. The CFPB preliminary report on arbitration describes JAMS as one of the two major consumer arbitration providers in the United States (alongside the American Arbitration Association), p. 60, note 136 ("There is general agreement that the AAA and JAMS are the leading consumer arbitration administrators"). Further sources demonstrating notability can be found the reference section of consumer arbitration (especially Berner & Grow, Sternlight ["Mandatory Binding Arbitration Clauses"], Gilles, Kaplinsky & Levin ["Is JAMS in a Jam"], Cole, and Malin). -RJaguar3 | u | t 17:09, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

Done - as a contested proposed deletion, the article has been restored on request. I will notify user Roberticus (talk), who proposed it, and who may choose to nominate it at WP:Articles for deletion, which would start a debate lasting seven days, to which you would be welcome to contribute. You will see that the article currently lacks any independent references, and is sprinkled with [citation needed] tags. JohnCD (talk) 18:00, 6 April 2014 (UTC)

School of the Annunciation

The reason for deletion was given as "A7: No explanation of significance (real person/animal/organization/web content/organized event): with the understanding that this place does not qualify as an "educational institution"

Hence since this IS an educational institution, if I understand correctly, no explanation of significance is necessary. This article defines what an educational institution is: Educational Institution and, from what I understand, the school would fall under the "Further & Higher Education - Specialized schools or institutes of higher education" category (the school has their own and charity & company number - see the bottom of their webpage: http://schooloftheannunciation.com/)

The page was flagged for deletion and I didn't make it in time to comment before an admin removed it. -Supadog (talk) 17:19, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

Josh Gets Grounded: Series of Events (Movie)

This is not spam! This is an official article about the movie! I DARE YOU NOT TO CALL IT SPAM! By the way, every movie needs an article! If this is spam, then LOOK at all the other articles that contain information about the movie and the article is important so that people can read up on the movie and decide if they like it or not and this is not spam! It said it was labeled "spam" so I need to tell you that it's not spam and is not intended for promotion of any kind! It might have gotten picked up by Wikipedia's spam filter. If it was not done by robots, then PLEASE CONSIDER DELETING EVERY MOVIE ARTICLE ON THE SITE IF THIS ISN'T LABELED "DONE"! This is very ungrateful and I wasn't promoting, trying to get YouTube views, nor was I trying to raise DVD purchases! I needed to inform people what was in the movie and all the information and even though I said it wasn't spam, ADMIT YOUR MISTAKE AND ALLOW PEOPLE TO MAKE ARTICLES! YOUR RULES DON'T MAKE YOU COOL! THE ONLY THING IS, YOU ARE NOT ME AND YOU DON'T KNOW IF IT IS PROMOTING! REVERT MY ARTICLE AND NEXT TIME, REMOVE YOUR FREAKING SPAM POLICY AS I AM FED UP WITH THIS CRAP! I NEEDED TO TELL PEOPLE IT WASN'T SPAM SO THAT IT WON'T BE DELETED AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT, YOUR WEBSITE IS A PIECE OF UNWANTED CRAP BECAUSE YOU HATE MY ARTICLE SO YOU WON'T GIVE IT BACK! THAT THING IS OFFICIAL! IF ANYONE TAMPERS WITH ANY OF THOSE ARTICLES, I KNOW THAT YOU HATE MY ARTICLE SO THAT'S WHY YOU DELETED IT! END OF CONVERSATION! GIVE ME MY ARTICLE BACK! ARE YOU SAYING THAT BECAUSE I AM THE USER THAT CREATED THE MOVIE, I CAN'T CREATE MY OWN ARTICLE ABOUT IT?! Now are you crying? I so hope you are!!!!!!!!! - Pnffan (talk) 00:31, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

Not done and will not be done. Yes, it was spam. With a lengthy second-person introduction explaining all the ways "you" can find this movie online, with an overly detailed synopsis, and a disclaimer at the bottom, it was clearly an advertisement. Your WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS argument about other articles is irrelevant; each article stands or falls on its own merits.
I strongly suggest you use WP:AFC for submitting articles from now on. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:56, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

Edit: I have deleted all promotional content and only added types of content other movie articles would have thanks to somebody leaving a message on my talk page, I figured out some of the rules. - Pnffan (talk) 03:30, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

Note. User has recreated the article, and it is about a YouTube "movie" that fails WP:WEB. It's currently tagged for speedy deletion under criterion A7. —C.Fred (talk) 03:33, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
Yep. Actually recreated more than just this time, and by multiple usernames. See #Josh Gets Grounded The Movie: Series of Events. Both are now salted.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 03:46, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

I'm trying to find a way to make it an acceptable article. I hate that people really love your rules. - Wikiarticleslover (talk) 01:47, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

Oh, and now you think it is an advertisement even though I clearly state that it is not!? You are not me and you do not know what the page was. Okay, I get why every other movie article was different. It wasn't an advertisement, though it looks advertising! So, the ways to watch the movie is not okay, yeah I know how to remove that. But stating it wasn't an advertisement and you not being me? This is so unacceptable that I can rage in the street! Okay, this wasn't an advertisement and you saying it was just because it looks so suspicious? Dude, trying to get that article covered and people love that it's tagged for speedy deletion?! Nobody likes me here?! Okay, then I'll just find a different way I can prove you wrong! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiarticleslover (talkcontribs) 02:05, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

"It wasn't an advertisement, though it looks [like] advertising!" You have a pretty obvious conflict of interest, and wouldn't see and/or care about the biases in your own writing on the topic. If you literally cannot see how your writing is advertising (and with advertising, appearance matters more than intent) then you should not be editing about the subject. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 06:15, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

University of Georgia College of Education

UGA's College of Education is a significant program. It is a nationally ranked program with notable faculty and alumni. The page should be restored so that the page can be updated with current rankings, program information, and other significant facts. Thank you! -Ugagirl2331 (talk) 14:34, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

After that, if your concerns are not addressed, you can apply at WP:Deletion review.
Individual colleges within a university are not often able to show the "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" necessary to establish WP:Notability - see Wikipedia:College and university article guidelines, particularly the section "Faculties and academic colleges".
