Template:Candy Crush Saga (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

There are a (very) few videogame franchises which over time develop sufficient cultural or historic impact that their individual elements acquire their own independent notability. However, Candy Crush Saga is a flash-in-the-pan Facebook fad, not Tomb Raider or Super Mario. Much as it would benefit the Sum Of All Human Knowledge to have Munchy Monolith and Easter Bunny Hills as articles, even the most die-hard "every grain of sand on the beach" inclusionist would concede that there is no possibility that a single one of the links on this template will ever turn blue. This is just a list of levels masquerading as a piece of navigation code.  – iridescent 21:57, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - No links means no navigation. Secondarywaltz (talk) 01:04, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • While respectfully disagreeing with the idea that you couldn't find at least a handful of editors who would declare a need for an article on every level if you asked in the right places. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 16:39, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep, not sure why we need to delete a sandbox for a template that exists. Editors are encouraged to use the sandbox to test edits to the main template. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 05:31, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unused and uneeded template Kumioko (talk) 21:35, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nominator....William 00:01, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep template sandbox. All templates should have sandboxes. If not, people will break the live version. And as the live version has been permprot, where else are you going to demonstrate your changes when you want an admin to change the live version? -- 65.94.79.6 (talk) 02:24, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • The use of /sandbox templates to test code is enshrined within the standard template development workflow, and has been for years at this point. If this had been newly-created for the sake of turning a redlink blue then so be it, but it's been used for its intended purpose. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 16:41, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Any lists of unused templates should have /sandbox and /testcases subpages stripped. — This, that and the other (talk) 12:07, 19 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. (This close is slightly early, but I am closing it at the same time as the related discussion for the stub category.) Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:04, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Template:China-city-stub (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

Not transcluded anywhere, and redundant to, for example, {{Zhejiang-geo-stub}}, as all cities readily fall under a province-level division's jurisdiction. If someone (not that they should be editing China-related articles anyway) is ignorantly unaware of the existence of the first-level divisions, {{China-stub}} can be used instead. GotR Talk 18:00, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy close as stub template. Category:Chinese city stubs has a concurrent nomination at CfD. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 18:49, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The WAC stopped sponsoring football after the 2012-13 season. These templates will not be used in the future. Both templates have redirects that should also be deleted. Dafoeberezin3494 (talk) 16:29, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
