Unncessary template. Created by a banned user for sockpupptery but this is really article content on template space and violates Wikipedia:TG. If you want history of Hamas, you can view the articles. A template is not meant to carry this sort of information. It states Hamas biographies on the top of the sidebar and that already implies this is not a template for navigation but for details that go on an article. We already have Template:Hamas and Template:Hamas leaders for links to Hamas members/leaders. This template's scope is still unclear and not really suitable for what templates are for. This was initially nominated for speedy delete under WP:G5, but the request was denied due to it being "substantially edited by others". I would like to argue that the two non-sockpuppet edits were not "substantial" enough to disqualify it from G5, as one was deleting poor formatting and the other was fixing an error. The statistics still show the authorship as 100% attributed to the sockpuppet. Painting17 (talk) 00:01, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
