WikiProjects and article ratings
One effective way to explore coverage of a particular topic area to find its strengths and weaknesses is through the corresponding WikiProject. Browse the WikiProject Directory to find the WikiProject(s) that are relevant to you.
Any given WikiProject may or may not be active socially, but most are part of the "Wikipedia 1.0" assessment system, with a talk page banner to mark articles related to the WikiProject's topic area. The ratings from the these talk pages generally get aggregated automatically to create a table of articles by quality and importance, like the example below. Click the links in the table to see the lists of individual articles.
