Wikipedia assignment & timeline
Our course was informally linked with another course on LSU's campus (Landscape Architecture [LA] 4001, Advanced Topics in Design, taught by Dr. Bruce Sharky). Students enrolled in BIOL / ENTM 4015 made contributions to Wikipedia (either by creating articles or adding content to existing articles) - contributions that were relevant to "Hot Topics" in Conservation Biology. Students enrolled in LA 4001 served as student "consultants" and added graphics that helped portray, illustrate, or otherwise enhance the content of the "Hot Topic" written contributions by the student "clients" in BIOL / ENTM 4015.

Topic specific items
The category Category:Conservation biology is like a tag that is likely to be used on many of the articles of interest or to be written by participants. The category Category:Biology stubs is another way to locate articles that are in need of further development.
