Welcome to WikiProject Apps. Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of mobile apps and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. Importance Criteria Examples
Top Core articles which are a "must have" for WikiProject Apps.
High-traffic articles which many people outside of computer software will already have a good knowledge of.
Mobile apps, App Store, Facebook, iOS, Android
High Most people interested in apps will be familiar with the topic, and the article gives context to a number of other information software articles. Is mentioned by many books and academic papers, and discussed in detail in more than one. Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, Candy Crush Saga, Windows Phone Store
Mid Known to many people interested in apps, even if not in detail. Evernote, Flappy Bird, Google Earth, Viber, Yelp
Low More specific and specialized content known only to some people interested in apps.
Most individuals, standards and app projects will be low importance unless they are well known or have high adoption.
