While there may be quite a few articles (I haven't checked), and even enough editors with the interest to sustain it, I think a BSkyB joint taskforce set up with WP:TV and WP:TV/BEaT (there might be others, too) would be a better option. A brand-new Wikiproject can often end up making its own rules, style guidelines, etc etc, which makes the end result of the articles that fall under its banner to look inconsistent with other articles related to TV networks/providers, and really they should all be consistent. A taskforce could use the well-established guidelines already laid down for writing articles and also draw upon the experience, knowledge and assistance of the members of said projects. In the future, if the task force does become bigger, and the number of articles increases, a decision to spin it out into an independent project can be made. A taskforce at this stage provides an opportunity to prove the worth of such a project, attract more members and a reasonable compromise. Matthewedwards : Chat 16:45, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Can be named either WikiProject BSkyB or WikiProject British Sky Broadcasting, whichever people prefer. TheRetroGuy (talk) 08:43, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
