Thirty years after disbanding following John Bonham's death in 1980, Led Zeppelin continue to be held in high regard for their artistic achievements, commercial success, and broad influence. The band have sold more than 300 million albums worldwide, including 111.5 million sales in the United States, and they are the only band to have had all their albums reach the U.S. Billboard Top 10. Led Zeppelin are ranked No. 1 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. There is already a considerable number of articles about Led Zeppelin on Wikipedia, of varying levels of quality and depth. These range from Good Articles such as Led Zeppelin II down to stubs of the lowest quality. This project seeks to marshall the efforts of interested editors to improve and unify these articles and to raise the overall standard of Led Zeppelin coverage on Wikipedia. For more information on WikiProjects, please see Wikipedia:WikiProjects and Wikipedia:WikiProject best practices.
From time to time, the participants list may be trimmed and seemingly inactive members moved to "Inactive". Please don't be offended: if you're here and editing Led Zeppelin articles or working on administration of the WikiProject, just put yourself back on the main list.
