Scope: This project covers the creation and editing of articles related to the U.S. State of North Carolina, its cities, counties, history, geography, demographics, transportation, culture, and peoples. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on North Carolina in a NPOV and accurate manner. The ultimate goal is to get articles nominated as Good Article or Feature Article Status, particularly the Top and High importance articles.

This WikiProject was formed to coordinate the development of better articles on the U.S. state of North Carolina. This page and its subpages (tabs) contain suggestions on assessment standards and importance, requests for help, templates, resources, and review of articles, which can be discussed at the project's talk pages.
