Novels Project Chronicles of Narnia task force is a task force created to better organize information in articles related to Narnia. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this task force will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page, see the to-do list there and add your name to the participants list. It is also strongly suggested that you watchlist as many Narnia articles as you are interested in to watch for vandalism.
The Chronicles of Narnia Task Force's ultimate goal is focused on offering Wikipedia readers a comprehensive and informative guide to high-quality Wikipedia articles relating to C. S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia series. Because of this it is our desire . . .
To create, maintain, and improve all articles related to the world of Narnia.
The Task Force was originally founded on 22 December 2005 as the Narnia WikiProject, but gained no interest due to lack of advertising, and thus had only one participant, the founder, Endomion. The project's interest was discussed on the proposed projects page, and was refounded on 23 July 2006 by Fbv65edel. In 2008, Wassupwestcoast converted the project into a task force of the Novels Wikiproject, where it has remained.
This page is within the scope of WikiProject Chronicles of Narnia task force, a collaborative effort to improve the coverage of C. S. Lewis' Narnia universe on Wikipedia. If you would like to participate, please visit the project page, where you can join the discussion and see a list of open tasks.
Hi, WikiProject Novels/Chronicles of Narnia task force, I noticed that you have some interest or expertise in C. S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia. I thought you may be care to know that there is a WikiProject working to improve articles about Narnia, and your help would be greatly appreciated. Please consider joining the Chronicles of Narnia task force by adding your name here, to the bottom of the list Novels Project list and then visiting the talk page to see how you can get involved, if you like. If you want, my best suggestion is to first get acquainted with the ventures of the project, and then try adopting an article. Thank you! ~~~~
Because DYK information on the Main Page must come from articles created in the preceding 72 hours, this is a place where you can list DYK questions that come from any article relating to Narnia, regardless of the time that it was created. These questions will be placed on the Narnia Portal.
Please feel free to list your new Narnia-related articles here (newer articles at the top, please). Any new articles that have an interesting or unusual fact in them should be suggested for the Did you know? box on the Main Wikipedia page. DYK information must come from articles created in the preceding 72 hours. When you finish adding your article here, please also place it in the appropriate section at the Narnia Watchlist.
New Article - Date Created - Add a fact here (suggested, but not required)
Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article personally. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the task force has produced.
Before we begin this project, we need to list our "orphans"! Please make a list below of articles you would like to see improved or created, and once the list is substantial enough, we will assign out articles to task force participants.
When you are done, add the article to the Wikipedia Peer Review page for it to be reviewed. After it is reviewed, go ahead and improve it, and if you can, nominate it for good article status.
