Project WikiProject Peru is a WikiProject dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to Peru. It encompasses all articles, categories and images related to Peru, including the Peru Portal. The goals of this group are to provide guidelines and recommendations for Peru related articles; to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Peru by creating, expanding, and maintaining articles; and to serve as a central point of discussion for Peru related issues in Wikipedia. Collaboration A quarterly collaboration to improve a Peru-related article to featured article standard Current Peru Collaboration Effort The current collaboration is: Lima, is the capital and largest city of Peru. It is located in the valleys of the Chillón, Rímac and Lurín rivers; on a desertic coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It forms a contiguous urban area with the seaport of Callao. Task forces Translation Project The purpose of this sub-project is to translate Peruvian-related articles from Spanish Wikipedia onto English Wikipedia.
