Welcome to WikiProject Thailand! This group was formed to improve Wikipedia's coverage and organization of articles on Thailand in a spirit of cooperation. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please add yourself as a participant in the project, inquire on the talk page, and see the to-do list, below.

Scope[edit]

This WikiProject includes within its scope all articles related to Thailand, its cities, geography, transportation, culture, history and so on. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on Thailand in a fair and accurate manner. All of these articles should be contained within the Category:Thailand or one of its subcategories. (However, not all articles under the category tree are relevant to the project; for example, only some articles under Category:Films shot in Thailand are covered by WikiProject Thailand.)

Task forces[edit]

  • The Provinces task force, formerly WikiProject Thai provinces, coordinated the creation of articles on Thailand's provinces, and now contains some advice on the content and formatting of province articles.
  • The Districts task force, formerly WikiProject Thai districts, coordinated the creation of articles on all Thai districts (amphoe and khet), which was completed in 2007. It is now retained as a task force for historical reference.
