The carrier also leases the property of the Duluth, Winnipeg and Pacific Railroad Company, herein called the Duluth, Winnipeg and Pacific Railroad, consisting of right of way and station grounds between Duluth and Virginia, upon which the railroad owned by the operating company is located. The Duluth, Winnipeg and Pacific Railroad owns no common-carrier property other than land.
The Duluth, Winnipeg and Pacific Railroad is controlled by the carrier on date of valuation through ownership of the entire outstanding capital stock. On the other hand, the records do not indicate that this company controls any common-carrier corporation. The common-carrier property of the Duluth, Winnipeg,[sic] and Pacific Railroad has been operated by the carrier from the date of completion of the latter company's railroad, December 9, 1912, to date of valuation.
