May 14: Passport DC

[edit]

This Saturday, many of the non-European embassies are holding open houses, as part of Passport DC. Let's meetup in the morning ~10 am and tour the embassies!

Meeting spot

[edit]

Unless there's strong interest in seeing particular embassies around Dupont Circle, let's meet at the Van Ness metro station (UDC / west side of Conn Ave) and see those embassies around there (short/no lines).

Depending on how things go / # of people, we could ride over together to Georgetown and see the Ukraine and Thai embassies. (no lines)

  2. I probably can go, unless it's raining like crazy...I looked at several (semi-random) wiki pages on embassies, discovered that there is so much missing information, made a short list of items to ask the embassies about so we can fill them in. I don't have a camera, so if anyone bring an extra camera, I can help with taking pictures. --TheBlueWizard (talk) 04:14, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
