I quite like this, it's really great for people like me who aren't really paying attention. --kelapstick(bainuu) 09:33, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

Regarding your join, or Die artwork of Ben Franklin's 1754 woodcut. After visiting Charleston , S.C. and Williamsburg, my wife and I purchased a Join or Die flag to fly with pride to recognize Ben Franklin and Pennsylvania's role in American Independence. My wife noticed the R for Pennsylvania, and I worked for three month's to correct the Library of Congress (LOC) records. While attempting to change University and High School records that referenced the LOC material, I stumbled upon your reference to the incorrect letter. Fortunately, there are two other original copies of Franklin's newspapers out there. The LOC explained that there was dirt or a "shive" which created the appearance of an R. After examination under a microscope, they changed the files.
