- A hand-typed "Today" is no damn use on a Talk page. That's why we use ~~~~. I've inserted the actual time and date from the History page. --Thnidu (talk) 04:30, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

Popular pages report
We – Community Tech – are happy to announce that the Popular pages bot is back up-and-running (after a one year hiatus)! You're receiving this message because your WikiProject or task force is signed up to receive the popular pages report. Every month, will post at Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Popular pages with a list of the most-viewed pages over the previous month that are within the scope of WikiProject Novels.
We've made some enhancements to the original report. Here's what's new:
- The pageview data includes both desktop and mobile data.
- The report will include a link to the pageviews tool for each article, to dig deeper into any surprises or anomalies.
- The report will include the total pageviews for the entire project (including redirects).
We're grateful to m:User talk:Community Tech bot.for his original , and we wish his bot a happy robot retirement. Just as before, we hope the popular pages reports will aid you in understanding the reach of WikiProject Novels, and what articles may be deserving of more attention. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at
Warm regards, the Community Tech Team 17:16, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
RRTF's John Rocco Edit-A-Thon
Annnouncing RRTF's first Edit-A-Thon! In honor of his July 9 birthday, the Rick Riordan task force will be hosting an editing event focused on author/illustrator John Rocco. The event will last until the first day of August, when the most helpful contributor will be featured on RRTF's forums. More information can be found here on the talk page, where you may also post questions and comments (as always). Please consider helping out! -- 2ReinreB2 (talk) 03:39, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
The spelling of a character's name was changed from Cathy to Kathy between editions of Killing Mr. Griffin, and there's been some disagreement about which one to use. I'm hoping some members of this project will weigh in on the article's talk page: Talk:Killing Mr. Griffin#Kathy or Cathy?. Thanks, Argento Surfer (talk) 17:38, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
Question about pronouns for a genderfluid character
WP:RRTF has a draft in progress for a book which contains a gender-fluid character. There's been some discussion about how to describe the character, as they make a point in the books of discouraging the use of "they" or "she/he". Does anybody know of a policy to guide us? Or an example? Please leave suggestions on Draft talk:The Hammer of Thor. Thanks! -- 2ReinreB2 (talk) 22:53, 13 June 2017 (UTC)

Notice about Country novel by year categories
Hi all. An isse was reported in WP Films about a series of "Country film by year" categories that were created without prior notification, and it was also mentioned that the same has happened in novels. I checked your Category hierarchy and it seems to me that such categories do not follow your categorization scheme. So I though of notifying you that up to now there have been created 59 Canadian novels by year categories populated by 488 articles, and 36 Swedish novels by year categories populated by 48 articles. Best regards, Hoverfish Talk 18:41, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
