Expand?[edit]

Could this be expanded to include other areas where we can achieve a "net positive"? Such as items at XfD discussions, consensus !votes, etc. where the sum of the parts are greater than the whole? I've seen many areas where I've been tempted to say - "It would be a "net positive" if we kept/agreed/deleted/changed something. Or is is best to keep as related to RfA? I agree that the scope of this should be expanded. In particular, the concept of "net positive" could be used to explain WP:IAR. WFCforLife (talk) 20:03, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
