Afd (deletion) discussions[edit]

I read on the blog that some articles created here have had AFD troubles. Links would be useful if any discussions are still ongoing. Johnbod (talk) 13:11, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

John, it was more PROD and speedy delete stuff. Nothing went as far as AfD, and there is no particular danger at present, even if there are still a few tags. I'm sure it must be dispiriting, and lead to new editors thinking "why should I bother to add stuff if they only want to delete it". Of course, I did warn them to expect deletion issues. Thanks for your concern! Edwardx (talk) 23:07, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks - watchlisted this now anyway, in case anything comes up. Johnbod (talk) 10:23, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Barbara Rubin[edit]

I've just discovered this page, through the "What links here" tool. A draft article about Barbara Rubin is currently under review: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Barbara_Rubin I hope I'm not duplicating someone else's efforts, after all that work! Wow - you really have done a lot of work on that article. With content of that quality, you should be creating articles in mainspace, and not bothering with Articles for Creation, where there is always a long wait. It's as easy as clicking on Barbara Rubin and then doing a copy and paste. If you're at all worried about anyone trying to have it deleted or adding tags, leave a note on my talkpage and I'll happily keep an eye on it. Edwardx (talk) 17:00, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
